festivus games

april 22, 2017
BULL CITY CF, DURHAM NC

The Festivus Games are the worldwide competition specifically for Novice and Intermediate Athletes! This competition is an individual event with six divisions competing all on the same day: Male Novice, Female Novice, Male Intermediate, Female Intermediate, Male Masters (45+), and Female Masters (45+). For those of you who are considering dipping your toes into the whole crazy world of functional fitness competitions, this is a great place to start.

There are multiple hosts for the Festivus Games. However, the closest to us for this iteration of the event is Bull City CrossFit in Durham, NC. It's always more fun to go to competitions as a group, so let's focus on that location and send a bunch of people!

DURABILITY SEMINAR WITH SARAH YEO

april 23, 2017
cF HOMEWARD

We are excited to be able to offer our Durability Seminars on a monthly basis! Remember, Unlimited Members can attend the class for free and it is open to all other drop-ins for $20.

These sessions will focus on teaching progressive joint sequences composed of "flows" of 4-5 movements including, but not limited to, work on the ankles, hips, spine, shoulders, and wrists. Sarah will lead you through these flows while teaching you the proper order and technique so you can effectively add them to your warm-up and cool-down routines. The sequences that she teaches will be posted in the box for your reference between seminars, but it will be tough to fully understand the movements without showing up to the seminar itself (so make sure you come!).
