Girls Strength & Conditioning

A girls-only strength and conditioning program open to 7th-10th graders (ish). This program, led entirely by women for women, will focus on the basics of proper lifting technique and strength training with age-appropriate programming. Progressing from unweighted body-awareness and proper movement fundamentals into weighted exercises and the use of kettlebells, barbells, medicine balls and more, the girls will be instructed and led to knowledgeably, comfortably, and authoritatively work out in a free-weight environment.

 

Class Schedule:        

Sunday 11:30-12:30PM

Monday 5:30-6:30 PM

Wednesday 5:30-6:30 PM  

Monthly Membership:

  • $90 per month
  • Unlimited attendance
  • Allows flexibility to the athletes and their families
  • Month-to-month, no contracts

At all times, proper form and scaling is highly prioritized in order to teach how to advance fitness in a sustainable and injury-free way.

One of our goals is to increase our female athletes' self-esteem and positive body image. Lifting weights is a great way to express self-reliance and power, regardless of the body type or experience. Using that core structure, part of our aim for this program to help the girls gain self confidence and body confidence, and to develop healthier methods of coping with and combating related societal and other pressures.
